ET425 - Vorn Beta Relasing Oct 30

You heard us right! The The ET425 - Vorn will be offically released on October 30th. The ET425 is a wonderful train Pack for OpenBVE. It was origionaly converted from the train on Microsoft Train Simulator, to a fresh Train on OpenBVE. I have now Reorginized and Modernized the sounds, and the horns are in working order.

Here are the Latest features:

• Paint Kit in Photoshop files
• *NEW Adobe Illustrator Template Files for design
• Sounds and Panels converted from MSTS to OpenBVE
• Extior Pack
• *NEW Animated Wheels
• Doucumation of the ET425 - Vorn (Comming soon)

All of these features will be part of the Vorn's asset. For AT Members, there will be a beta release tomarrow for both Windows and Mac OS X. Screenshots will be comming soon.

Well the good news is that, progress is going slow, but almost finished. My next Step is the Paint Kit. Im currently working on the Paint kit in Adobe Photoshop CS5 and im starting on the windows and doors.

The Final Deadline for the ET425 release is October 30th. We are planning a Special Livery on both the ET425 and the LACMTA Metro Blue Line Extior Pack which will make you a little 'scary' surprise. Stay tuned for updates on the Paint Kit status.

LACMTA Metro Blue Line Extior Pack Restored!

I'm back from my vacation at San Diego, and the good news is, i have Restored the LACMTA Metro Blue Line Extior Pack!! How i done it? I've looked over all of the extior pack's installation files, and unfortunately, there was a information saying that it must have acrobat and AIR 2, then exits. But Not all of them. one had a different design that i've used months ago. it dint set the warnings. I was Very suprised! and I've restored the Pack!! For those who have trouble installing the pack, I will re-release the pack tonight.

a Bad start, all upcoming projects on hold

Last week, i have upgraded my OS to Windows 7 Pro. The good news is that I have upgraded my system, the bad news is, I HAVE LOST ALL MY DATA!! It was NOT caused by the virus/malicious software. Because we'd have to upgrade it from scratch, we'd have to uninstall the programs, and format the drive (THAT was the cause). so id have to install my own copies to the Windows 7. Unfortunately, all of the train data (from OpenBVE) all been deleted. However i was able to get the files from my inbox that Matthew Tiley (AT Main user 'wmatarailfan') and I have been testing.

2 more trains released to AT

Well as the progress goes on, 2 more downloads has released to OpenBVE. The Rohr 1000 Series (For OpenBVE & BVE2) and the Breda/Alstom 2000 Series (for OpenBVE on Windows and Mac OS X). I would like to give credit to the AT Main Web user Matthew Tiley (wmatarailfan) for the sounds, train data, and the Panel, also another credit to Ben Schumin for the great photos for Both the Rohr 1000 Series and the Breda 2000 Series. And the good news is that AT for Sims 3 has restored to full balance. It was Shut down temporary due to a problem on the Sims 3 Launcher with the expansion pack (Sims 3 World Adventures). Another New webpage along with "AT for TrackMania" will be comming after the release of the ET425 - Vorn. Speaking of that, the new ET425 - Vorn is in progress (at least it's in it's current state). The 'Vorn' will be in 2 Versions: the USA & UK Version. I have tested the 'Vorn' in 3 Routes: Network West Midlands (Maybank - Radley Jct.), NYCTA Line 2 (Flatbush Av - Times Sq/42nd St), and the Hong Kong MTR Tsuen Wan Line (Central - Prince Edward). Tomarrow (When I get back from the LACMTA Red Line Trip), I will post 3 videos to YouTube: 2 'Ride-on' videos, 1 Trailer for the ET425 Vorn. Stay Tuned for more updates!

Progress in Progress

Well, summer is here, and things are happening. The WMATA Rohr 1000 Series made from a AT Main user has now released to the web, and it's now compatible for BVE2! For those who have the WMATA Red Line Route made by Oren, you can get the HD edition of the Rohr 1000 Series at the Downloads page. Next we starting on 3 projects: The WMATA Breda 2000 Series (Rehabilitated by Alstom) for OpenBVE and BVE2, the ET425 - Vorn for OpenBVE, and the route Köln Line 6/12/15 for Trainz. More on the way.

The WMATA Rohr is now optimized for BVE2

Well the all-new WMATA Rohr 1000 Series for OpenBVE has now come to BVE2. A brand-new panel (from Error) is added to the BVE2 Version. Check the Downloads page.

Here it is. Finally the LACMTA Metro Blue Line Extior Pack with Paint Kit for OpenBVE has released! Another thing, I'm working on another train for OpenBVE. You Seen the 'Vorn' train in MSTS, Now see it in OpenBVE! It's acually called the ET425 - Vorn. This was seen in MSTS in the Route "ProTrain 3 Sttugart - Müchen" by BlueSky Interactive. An Audio Preview will be coming in soon. In the Meantime, it will have 3 liveries: The Default livery (Dutche Bahn), and the NYCTA (New York City Transit Authority), and the Network West Midlands. If you like to submit your name of the ET425 Livery, Please Contact Me at 'arttrain.com@gmail.com' Or go to the AT Forum to submit your livery. This must contain these:

• The Name of the livery
• The Electric type (ether 3rd rail or Canary)
• an image of the train with the livery you like/want (I recommend you search through Bing)
  
• (OPTIONAL) DestSign Name (example: Line V to Conney Island/Stwell Av.)

Next thing: a Brand new, very first AIR creation is comming to ArtTrain. It's Called "Syndrome Skurge". An AIR Program that edits/creates DestSigns, Texture, and Texture Options. We'll Explain Later. This IS IMPORTANT: AT's Beta Test Users, will be transfered to a new beta testing web. We'll Explan in the meantime.

Pantographs and Paint Kits/PSD's added to the Extior Pack!

As the saga contunes of the beta release of the LACMTA Blue Line Extior Pack, pantographs have been added. Here I have added some lines to the 'Translate' area to be put into place. Now that according to the picture, it was supposed to be on the B car, not on the A car (which i accidentally placed into). Pantograph has almost be placed.

After all Lines was placed, I tested in the route "Ishinden Line" in the Chashanti Railway, and the panto, it's a perfect fit!!!

Now also the Paint Kit/PSD's will come included in the LACMTA Blue Line Extior Pack. This will Feature that you get to repaint the front, back, & side-to-side (w/Content-Aware Fill). The only thing unfinished is it's the 'side-to-side' part. Note that this texture can only be in one place, then on the other side will be reversed itself. With this paint kit, this will only require Adobe Photoshop CS4/CS5 Standard or Extended.

Update: OpenBVE and it's textures meet the CS5!

Just on Sunday, i have recently upgraded my Adobe CS4 Products to the CS5 Master Collection. Now the only problem is that I do not have the Premeire Pro or After Effects CS5 (Because it only requires a 64-bit system, but i only have a 32-bit Windows XP Home Edition). Now for OpenBVE, there was a v1.2.6.2 Update containing bug fixes. On the Status of the LACMTA Blue Line, there will be a Beta Test on the LACMTA Blue Line Extior Pack. You can sign up right now at arttrain.businesscatalyst.com/betasignup. Now part of this Beta is that i'm making the Paint Kit via/(Used to) Photoshop CS4 Extended (But Now) Photoshop CS5 Extended. Now I'm Making the 1990's Version of the LACMTA Blue Line. Here is my Status of my livery:













Now the Main/RC1 Release will be somtime in June. Also I will be on the move on May, 8 to Union Station/Gateway Transit Center for the National Train Day 2010. More Updates comming! stay tuned!

Release Canadate Update

Just so you know, Not only i'm Making the RC of the Breda P2550, I'm also making other of me train packs.

The following RC's will be due in April:

• LACMTA Breda P2550
• LACMTA Red Line A650 (Train/Extior Pack)
• LACMTA Blue Line P2020 & P865 (Extior Pack Comming in June)

Those lists show those will be the RC1 release in April. In addition, I have a bonus content for both BVE 2 & OpenBVE.

Blog Update

Finally! for those who have the Sims 3, I have made the AT for Sims 3 Website. But unfortunately, I have problems with the CSS Files (Edited by Dreamweaver CS4). It will be unknown when will the web be released. Coming soon, In June, i will publish the AT for TrackMania Nations/United Forever (w/ManiaLink).

Blog Update

Well, now i was supposed to plan to go to the LACMTA Red Line to record a sample of the enginesounds via the "Voice Memos" app from iPod Touch. I was going on March, 6 2010, but due to weather conditions in Los Angeles, it will be postponed to March, 13 2010. Meanwhile, I have upload the video LACMTA Blue Line P865 ride from Steelhouse Gate - Highgate (Tested on the route "Network West Midlands") here. I'm Planning to release the LACMTA Red Line Extior Pack for Mac OS X. Unfortunately, I was unable to get Mac OS X Running. Some reason, i was installing to VMware Workstation 6, but i was soooo close. All it said was "Disabling the CPU" during booting. In the meantime, I'm complying/testing the installing for Mac OS X & Linux (Using the Evaluation version of InstallAnywhere 2010). For those who have OpenBVE Installed on Windows 7, I'm working on the installations that work for Windows 7. For those who have Trainz, Just this week i have made 2 enginesound content for NYCTA buses made by jeffmorris. First was called "Detroit Desel 50G Series Enginesound", another was "Detroit Desel 50G DDEC Series Enginesound". The first content "Detroit Desel 50G Series Enginesound" will be due for release on DLS by March 12. The only problem is, in the content "Detroit Desel 50G DDEC Series Enginesound" in the file 'up 3 - 4.wav', that contained fugitive language at end (such as 'a**hole'). i'm currently working on that trying to replace the file.

Update

It's been 5 days since i have released the LACMTA Red Line Extior Pack for OpenBVE. Now, the installation is ONLY for Windows XP, Vista, & 7. For now, I'm working on the Extior Pack installation for Mac OS X. But in order to Beta Test the installation for Mac OS X, i have brought the Mac OS X Snow Leopard (v10.6) Retail Operating system since 2/13. The Only product released for Mac is the "A3L-alt" for OpenBVE (in .app extension). I'm currently working on getting Mac to work on PC to beta test apps. For those Who have "The Sims 3", I'm working on a portrait to release (in different web page). Due to Limited space on my web, I'm currently on a custom web page for those who have the sims 3. The Release Candidate of the Web page of downloads for the sims 3 will be on June 2010 (along with the LACMTA Blue Line Extior Pack that i been working on).

LACMTA Red Line Extior Due for Release before Valentine's dayPack

The Release of the LACMTA Red Line Extor Pack (for OpenBVE) is Feb, 12 2010. By the time the Extior Pack is Released, i have made a Valentine's Day Pic w/Download to the Red Line Extior Pack. After installing the Extior Pack, U will be a Linked to the AT Forum Page where u can find a selection of Pictures of the Red Line Extior Pack, when u find the right picture, you can email your Valentine's Day Pic w/link to the installation to your friend or anyone you know.

The LACMTA Red Line Extior Pack is almost finished, the final stage is installation. But i need your help, Located at the AT Main Web, there's a poll at the bottom of the website. there are 5 Installations you need to chose. The deadline is 1/31/10. But the Extior Release is 2/14/10.
